Sat Jul 20 14:14:27 UTC 2013  <usagi>   peterl well, think about it; if you compare the performance of most mining assets to BMF what do you see? since june 13th DMS.MINING and TAT.VIRTUALMINE crashed by more than 50%. BMF is down about 10% or 20% I think

Fri Jul 19 13:38:11 UTC 2013  <cmars>   I can't believe how much bitcoin is crashing. I mean we're seeing $77 mid-afternoon, down to $61 by Sunday. $55 by midweek next week, possibly a bit of a bounceback and then a gradual fall, and we'll be stabilizing around $49.

Tue Jul 16 15:08:20 UTC 2013  <ThickAsThieves>   This would remain the case if Bitcoin’s market cap increased 100-fold or even 1000-fold. The algorithm is simple: gradually purchase large sums of Bitcoins, a hundred million dollars worth given the current market cap would be plenty. Then flash sell them to flood the market and drive the price down. Rinse, repeat."

Tue Jul 09 18:04:36 UTC 2013  <stayingayou>   i don't understand this amc stuff. i hold some amc-pt shares at btct and there is a huge wall sitting on 0.0025 and one on 0.002499. i have the option to transfer my shares to bitfunder and convert them so "am" shares, which are traded for ~0.002. so essentially trading on btct is locked down and i'd loose value if i transfer to bitfunder. i'd be very pleased if someone could brief me with a tl;tr what i'm missing here..

Tue Jul 09 16:23:29 UTC 2013  <ThickAsThieves>   "Bitcoin is a bad idea. Creating an ETF for bitcoin compounds idiocy on top of baloney. This is a disaster. The federal government is already shuting down bitcoin exchanges as unlicensed money transfer operations."

Mon Jul 08 12:50:15 UTC 2013  <pankkake>   yes, I think that bitpay's way of selling all the time is pushing the price down

Sun Jul 07 14:18:41 UTC 2013  <mjrIII>   since i profit from the future's contract if the price goes down, as long as my premium is at a certain price, i won't lose money in the total portfolio though i lose on the put, my future should hedge me
